Yin Yoga for the Wood Element
In this mini Yin Yoga workshop, we explore the Wood Element through the lens of Chinese Medicine and Taoist philosophy. The Wood Element is associated with growth, renewal, and forward movement—and governs the Liver and Gallbladder meridians.
This practice focuses on the side body, hips and inner thighs, which support Qi's flow through these channels. Through long-held, floor-based postures, you’ll be invited to create space, release stagnation, and support the smooth unfolding of energy and intention.
Props you’ll need:
– 2 Yoga Bricks
– 1 Yoga Strap
– A Yoga Bolster and one blanket or 2 blankets and a small cushion
Come prepared to move inward, breathe deeply, and cultivate harmony with the energy of spring and new beginnings.
