Back Pain? I’ve got your back.
If your back, neck, shoulders, or hips are feeling stiff, sore, and overworked, this Therapeutic Yoga class offers a chance to give your body some much-needed attention.
Whether you spend your days sitting at a desk and carry tension in your back and shoulders, or are returning to Yoga after a back injury, we’ll explore practical Therapeutic Yoga tools to help you better understand your body and care for your back.
Together, we’ll look at some of the common contributors to back pain and explore ways to build strength, release tension, and create more ease in your everyday movement.
Maintain the health and mobility of your spine
Strengthen the muscles that support your back, including the deep core
Release chronic tension in the back, neck, shoulders, and hips
Use simple self-massage techniques to ease muscular tension
Develop a better understanding of your body and what it needs
There’s no need to push, force, or power your way through a practice. Instead, we’ll make space to listen to your body, work with what’s here, and discover ways to move that feel good and sustainable.
Think of it as a little time set aside to take care of your back, with plenty of attention for everything else that helps you feel at home in your body.
