Winter invites us inward. It is the season of stillness, restoration, and quiet clarity, an inner landscape that Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra both beautifully support.
In Chinese Medicine, winter is connected to the water element, which teaches us to rest, conserve energy, trust our inner reserves, and listen deeply to the whispers beneath the surface.
In this workshop, we will slow down and soften into long-held Yin postures that support the kidneys and bladder meridians, the energetic pathways associated with vitality, reflection, and the ability to move with life rather than push against it.
Each shape becomes an opportunity to settle into yourself, to feel what is ready to be released, to rest and to reconnect with the steady wisdom that winter naturally brings forward.
After our Yin practice, you will be guided into a nourishing Yoga Nidra, a practice of conscious rest that invites the body into profound relaxation and the mind into a quiet, dreamlike awareness. In this deeply receptive state, insight can surface with ease, and the seeds of your winter dream can take root.
