Thursday Evening Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is characterized by the relaxed practice of floor shapes using the support of props when needed for three to five minutes at a time.

These still, long-held floor-based poses invite in a deep stretch and new sense of spaciousness and relaxation in the body.

In Yin Yoga, we gently coax the mind to be present and aware through this stillness and sensation in the body, building mental resiliency from the inside out.

The Wisdom of Winter: A Yin Yoga and Yoga & Nidra Journey (Teachers Edition)

Winter invites us inward. It is the season of stillness, restoration, and quiet clarity, an inner landscape that Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra both beautifully support.

In Chinese Medicine, winter is connected to the water element, which teaches us to rest, conserve energy, trust our inner reserves, and listen deeply to the whispers beneath the surface.

In this workshop, we will slow down and soften into long-held Yin postures that support the kidneys and bladder meridians, the energetic pathways associated with vitality, reflection, and the ability to move with life rather than push against it.

Each shape becomes an opportunity to settle into yourself, to feel what is ready to be released, to rest and to reconnect with the steady wisdom that winter naturally brings forward.

After our Yin practice, you will be guided into a nourishing Yoga Nidra, a practice of conscious rest that invites the body into profound relaxation and the mind into a quiet, dreamlike awareness. In this deeply receptive state, insight can surface with ease, and the seeds of your winter dream can take root.

Meditation 101- Making Meditation Practical

In Meditation 101, you will learn everything you need to know (the who, what, when, where, why and how) of creating your own Meditation practice.

  • You'll learn to meditate in a simple, clear way that progresses from week to week.

  • By the end of the 6-week live course, you'll be able to sit for 20 min.

  • You'll practice with a group of like-minded beginner mediators to support you on your path.

  • You'll have access to both a private Facebook group and Insight Timer group where we can support each other and practice together.

  • You'll receive a PDF guidebook that you can refer back to as often as you need to.

  • You will have access to the recordings for one year

Meditation 101- Making Meditation Practical is for you if:

  • You're fed up with feeling worried, stressed and anxious. You're ready and willing to make a change.

  • You're not looking for a magic pill or quick fix; you want to create lasting change.

  • You're ready to show up for yourself and can hold yourself accountable.

Meditation 101 is NOT for you if:

  • You already have a regular meditation practice

  • You know, despite your good intentions, you don't hold yourself accountable or stick to your word

  • You can't commit to showing up

You can do this!

I know there may be a little voice in the back of your head that has doubts, that thinks, “Sure, this might work for other people, but not for me. I can't stop thinking."

That's normal. I had that voice too; we all have these doubts, and the goal of meditation isn't to stop thinking, that's a big misconception. We aren't sitting in a thoughtless void.

But I promise, if you have the will, I can show you how.

Meditation 101- Making Meditation Practical Includes:

  • This course is live on Zoom

  • A live 6-week course with guidance and instruction from me

  • 6 weeks of live group support

  • Private Insight timer group so we can practice together

  • Private Facebook group for support

  • A PDF Guidebook you can refer back to again and again

  • access to the recordings for one year

Space is limited - this course only runs once a year!
